Two teens charged with disturbing the peace

WALTHAM - Two teenagers were arrested yesterday at 1:34 a.m. after the refused to disperse after police went to a call about a loud party at 3303 Stearns Hill Road, police said.

Steven Fitzgibbon, 19, of 100 Cleveland St., Newton, was charged with disturbing the peace. Andrew Cadrain, 19, of 39 Locke Road, Newton, was charged with disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.

Waltham man arrested on warrant

WALTHAM - Michael Gallant, 50, of 12 Underwood Park, Apt. 1, was arrested Monday at 9:51 p.m. at his house on an Ayer District Court default warrant for larceny over $250, police said.

Homeless man arrested on warrant

WALTHAM - Michael Manning, 32, homeless, was arrested outside of 817 Moody St. on Monday at 7:48 p.m. on a Barnstable District Court warrant for shoplifting.

Waltham woman charged with assault

WALTHAM - Police said a woman who slapped her husband from whom she is separated was arrested Monday at 10:12 a.m.

Kara Centola, 35, of 70 Hope Ave, Apt. 217, was charged with assault and battery, police said.

Newton man charged with assault

NEWTON - Police said Arthur Karelas, 53, of 143 Adams St., was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery on June 18.

Newton man arrested on warrant

NEWTON - Scott Sheehan, 28, of 68 Hartford St., was arrested June 18 on an East Brookfield District Court warrant, police said.

Newton woman charged with trespassing

NEWTON - A woman police said was found at the Newton North High School construction site was arrested June 19.

Olivia Pangburn, 18, of 59 Trowbridge Ave., was charged with trespassing, police said.

Newton man charged with OUI

NEWTON - A man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving June 20 after he rear-ended a car waiting to turn onto Church Street from Washington Street.

Sean Horan, 36, of 218 Lowell St., was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, police said.

Newton man charged with resisting arrest

NEWTON - Police handled a call on June 19 about a man on Chestnut Street whose pants were around his ankles.

Police said they noticed a smell of alcohol on him and had to help him to his feet twice.

Joseph Caruso, 38, of 427A Auburn St., was charged with open and gross lewdness, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, police said.
