Police arrest woman wanted on warrant
WALTHAM - A 40-year-old Waltham woman was arrested on a warrant at the Extended Stay Deluxe Hotel, where she was staying, Wednesday at 3:16 p.m.
Anne Marie Shaw was wanted on a Burlington warrant for shoplifting, police said.
Man arrested on assault charge
WALTHAM - A 32-year-old Waltham man was arrested at his Bedford Street home Wednesday at 6:49 p.m.
Jeffrey Malkofsky, of 54 Bedford St., was charged with assault and battery, police said.
Police arrest man on warrant
WALTHAM - A 48-year-old Waltham man was arrested on a warrant on Ward Avenue Wednesday at 6:51 p.m.
Rusell Hamann, homeless, was arrested on a warrant for disturbing the peace and pulling a fire alarm, police said.
Man charged with assault
WALTHAM - A 47-year-old Waltham man was arrested at home Wednesday at 10:16 p.m.
Mario Sammartano, of 414 Stearns Hill Road, was charged with assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod foot), police said.
Man arrested on court warrant
NEWTON - A 25-year-old Newton man was arrested{ Thursday} yesterday at 1 a.m. on Kenningston Street.
Nikolas Kanellakis, of 66 Kensington St., Apt. 2, was arrested on a Waltham District Court warrant for larceny over $250 and uttering a false check, police said.
Man arrested on assault charge
NEWTON - A 60-year-old Cambridge man was arrested Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Shaw's Supermarket on Austin Street.
Maximillian DeLasota of 820 Massachusetts Ave. was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a wooden sign), police said.
