Police: Teens swiped bike from home

Three teenage boys were arrested Tuesday evening after police say they stole a bike from a Alden Place home.

At 6:56 p.m., one 15-year-old and two 16-year-old boys, all from Newton, were charged with receiving stolen property over $250, said police.

After a witness reported the theft of the bike to police, the three boys were found at the nearby Pizza Market at the corner of River and Cherry streets, police said.

The three boys and red bicycle found at the pizza parlor matched the description given to police by the witness, said police.
