Waltham man arrested on warrant
WALTHAM - A Waltham man was arrested inside his home on a warrant Friday morning, said police. At 9:49 a.m., Dayron De Los Santos, 23, of 45 Kings Way, Apt. 5, was arrested on Waltham District Court warrant charges for assault and battery, said police.
Man charged with possession of pot
WALTHAM - A local man was arrested early Saturday morning after police approached his car parked in front of 75 Barber Road. At 12:35 a.m., Chris Faggas, 18, of 66 Helen St., was charged with possession of marijuana, police said.
Police said they found a small plastic bag containing marijuana in his car.
North Carolina woman charged with assault
WALTHAM - A North Carolina woman was arrested at the Homestead Suites hotel on Fourth Avenue Saturday morning after a caller reported a man and woman fighting, said police.
At 3:44 a.m., Valerie Wall, 45, of 1107 Clark St., Fayetteville, N.C., was charged with assault and battery, police said.
According to police, Wall bit a man in the right forearm and scratched him on the neck and chest.
Wall also had an outstanding warrant from Taunton District Court charging her with driving without a license, said police.
Everett man facing driving, drug violations
WALTHAM - An Everett man was arrested early Sunday morning after police say he ran a red light at Main and Hammond streets.
At 12:19 a.m., Patrick Coiro, 22, of 68 Linden St., was charged with a red light violation and driving after his license had been suspended.
Police said they found a small bag of marijuana in the car and charged him with possession.
Woman charged with OUI
WALTHAM - A local woman was arrested Sunday evening after police were alerted about an erratic driver on Lexington Street.
June Sullivan, 48, of 118 Sheffield Road, was arrested after police found her in a parking lot at 800 Lexington St. with damage to her car's front right tire and rim. Sullivan was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Police said they had received a report that a white Mercedes sedan struck a curb and was swerving on the road.
Sullivan was arrested at 7:18 p.m., said police.
Man charged with assault
WALTHAM - A Brookline man was arrested after police say he tried to force his way into his girlfriend's home Sunday night.
At 7:32 p.m., Samuel Kuacliet, 28, of 330 Clark Road, was charged with assault and battery and assault with of a dangerous weapon, a shoe, police said.
According to police, Kuacliet shoved his girlfriend repeatedly while trying to make his way into her home. He also repeatedly tried to strike a man inside his girlfriend's home with a shoe, police said.
Watertown man arrested on warrant
WALTHAM - A Watertown man was arrested by Waltham Police in Hudson on an outstanding warrant Sunday night. At 8:50 p.m., Christopher McNeil, 21, of 15 Highland Ave, was arrested.
The Waltham District Court warrant charges McNeil with larceny of a vehicle, forgery of a check and uttering a false check, said police.
Man charged with driving violations
WALTHAM - A local man was arrested early yesterday morning after police say his car he struck a telephone pole on Crescent Street.
Erick Miranda, 18, from 18 Norumbega Terrace, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a license, negligent driving, speeding and failing to stay in marked lanes.
According to police, the force of the impact caused the telephone pole to fall over and Miranda's car to roll over on its side.
Police said Miranda's car drifted off the side of the road before striking the pole.
Miranda, who was uninjured, was arrested at 3:44 a.m.
