Woman charged with assault
WALTHAM - Police arrested a Waltham woman Tuesday night at 9:07 after she got into an argument with her husband.
Police said the woman ripped her husband's shirt and bit him on the forearm.
Clare Namugga, 29, of 107 Middlesex Road, Apt. 3, was charged with assault and battery, police said.
Police: Passenger hid, ran in street
WALTHAM - Police stopped a truck on Forest Street on Tuesday at 5:19 p.m. when they noticed it was a commercial vehicle without the proper commercial license plates.
The passenger, Gustavo Merida, 45, of 404 Broadway St., Somerville, wouldn't listen to the officer, police said, and ran in the street and hid in the trailer section of the truck. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
The driver, William Doyle, 18,, was charged with driving without a license.
Homeless man charged with public drinking
WALTHAM - Jorge Caceras, 36, homeless, was arrested Tuesday at 4:57 p.m. after police said they noticed him drinking vodka on Cherry Street.
Caceras was charged with public drinking, police said.
Police: Man refused to leave old apartment
NEWTON - Police said they arrested a man on Tuesday at 2:24 p.m., who returned to his former apartment on Studio Road but refused to leave.
Daniel Saa, 35, 156 Porter St., East Boston, was charged with breaking and entering in the daytime, assault and battery to collect a loan and putting a person in fear.
Saa was also wanted on four warrants, police said.
