Man charged with drunken driving
WALTHAM - A Waltham man was arrested Monday on drunken driving charges after a witness told police the car knocked over a street sign near the corner of Charles and Williams streets, police said.
Rene Zecena, 22, of 143 Charles St., was charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and improper care while turning, police said. He was arrested around 5:33 p.m.

WALTHAM - A Waltham man was arrested Tuesday and charged with assault and battery, police said. Police said Miguel Mena, 64, of 14 Bedford St. Apt 1, hit his girlfriend in the face. Mena was arrested around 9:03 p.m., police said
