Waltham man charged with assault

WALTHAM - A Waltham man was arrested Wednesday at 9:28 p.m. after police were called to a Charles Street apartment for a report of a restraining order violation.

When police arrived, the woman had a red mark on her neck and told police her boyfriend, Wilson Isales-Ruano, punched her with a closed fist.

Isales-Ruano, 22, of 45 Williams St., was found outside his home. He was charged with assault and battery and a restraining order violation, police said.

Woman charged with shoplifting

WALTHAM - Gail Collura, 48, of 206 Ridge Lane, was arrested Wednesday at 2:38 p.m. at Shaw's, 1070 Lexington St., on a shoplifting charge, police said.

Shaw's security said they saw a woman take $163 worth of merchandise and attempt to leave without paying, police said.

Man arrested on warrant charge

WALTHAM - A New Hampshire man was arrested on a warrant Tuesday after police responded to an argument at 511 Totten Pond Road, police said.

Paul Cerullo, 26, of 320 Douglas St., Manchester, N.H., was arrested on a West Roxbury District Court warrant.

Man charged with third OUI

NEWTON - A Natick man who police saw speed on Rte. 9 yesterday at 2 a.m., was charged for the third time with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Peter Gear, 46, of 4 Squire Court, was charged with OUI-alcohol, third offense, OUI-drugs, marked lanes violation and speeding, police said.
