One of the men on the newest State Police Most Wanted Sex Offender list was captured yesterday in Brighton.
State troopers found William Velez Jr., 27, hiding under a bed in a room at the Days Inn in Brighton, according to a press release issued by State Police today. He was taken into custody without incident by State Police Sgt. Richard Hunter and Trooper John Strazzullo. Velez was at the room with his girlfriend.
Two men wanted separately by Waltham and Newton Police were added to the state's list of most wanted sex offenders released yesterday.

A Brockton man was indicted by a Middlesex grand jury yesterday in connection with a January death in Waltham. Chrisshane Barrientos, 24, of Brockton, was indicted yesterday on one count of manslaughter in connection with the death of Neil Hulteen, 54.
