I wonder how many of you are not looking forward to the coming Thanksgiving holidays, because of a family feud and fences that need mending. This seems to happen in a lot of families where something is said or done that's deemed hurtful and a member of the family is being scorned.
Well isn't it time to toss that ego out the window and put together what it takes to make all parties comfortable?
It'll take a nice portion of the following ingredients: patience, love, forgiveness, understanding and a dash of humbleness.
Now before you think why should I take the first step, think of what you're trying to mend, your family. This is the time to be the bigger person and step up to the plate and begin the first steps to getting rid of that grudge. Think of the ending of the current picture, and how this Thanksgiving can be one to remember because you made that first step.
I've planted the seed and given you the best recipe for putting together a perfect family Thanksgiving, now it's up to you to pull it off.
Just remember, forgiveness will replace anger with love. It's the gift that keeps on giving.
