Green line trains between Riverside and Reservoir have been suspended because of a sinkhole, according to the MBTA.
Spokesman Joe Pesaturo said the sinkhole formed in the past half hour between the Chestnut Hill and Newton Centre stations. Buses are being used for both inbound and outbound service.
Green Line service after Reservoir is also down, Pesaturo said. The Muddy River has overflowed near the Fenway and the MBTA is busing from the Fenway station to the Kenmore station.
