The state's Department of Transportation is warning commuters to plan ahead for tomorrow's snowstorm.
Snowfall predictions in the state, depending on the region, range from 6 to 10 inches.
The storm is expected to start after the morning commute and last through the early morning on Thursday.
A press release from the state encourages commuters to allow for extra time to get home and to use public transportation if possible.
The transportation department will post messages regarding the storm on various message boards on the highway along with the DOT's Twitter page. For live streaming shots of conditions on major highways, visit mass.gov/511/cameras.
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority will also issue alerts on mbta.com.
The MassDOT is responsible for clearing 13,500 "lane miles of highway," and 2,900 bridges.
