CPA, Public meeting
Community Preservation Committee will have a public meeting Tuesday, Nov, 17, 7 p.m., at City Hall, City Council Chambers, 610 Main St. The Committee will review the state match of FY 2009 surcharge funds received Oct. 14, 2009, and the estimated surcharge funds for FY 2010. Allocations to the allowed categories of historic, community housing, open space, administrative, and budget reserve funds will be made. Any previous applications or matters may also be acted upon at this meeting. An Agenda will follow.
All concerned parties are invited to give input on matters pertinent to the Community Preservation Committee. Matters received in a timely fashion may be added to the Agenda of the Committee for Nov. 17.

NEHRA, Leadership curriculum

LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS, Meeting on overdevelopment
Are you concerned about development and overdevelopment in Waltham? The League of Women Voters of Waltham will hold a public meeting on Green Development Tuesday, Nov. 17, 7:30, at the Waltham Public Library Lecture Hall, 735 Main St. The speaker will be Jebidiah Mannis, a lawyer who specializes in protecting green areas when designing new development. He will give a brief presentation and then the audience will have an opportunity to ask questions.
