July events at the Waltham Council on Aging, W.F. Stanley Senior Center, 488 Main St.; hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call 781-899-7228 to register for any of the programs and presentations listed below. All events at the Center, unless otherwise noted. The Council on Aging office will be close Friday, July 4.

Trips
A day on the waterfront Thrusday, July 17, with lunch at the No Name Restaurant, 15 Fish Pier St., Boston, followed by a visit to the IMAX theater at the New England Aquarium for ``Dolphins and Whales: Tribes of the Ocean'' in 3D. Cost is $7 (that does not include lunch). Payment is due upon reservation. The COA bus departs Sacred Heart Church Parking lot at 10:45 a.m., returning around 3:30 p.m.
Maine Lobster Bake on Tuesday, Aug. 12, is at the Clambake Restaurant in Scarborough, Maine, which sits on Maine's largest salt water marsh right beside the famous Old Orchard Beach. The Lobster Clambake will include a Caesar salad, clam chowder, steamed clams, one boiled lobster or chicken, baked potato, cole slaw, rolls & butter, strawberry shortcake and coffee or tea. On the return trip home we will visit Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine. Cost is $54, due upon reservation. The bus departs Sacred Heart Church parking lot at 9 a.m., returning at 5 p.m.

Italian Day
Celebrate Italian culture, food and music Friday, Aug. 15, noon. Enjoy lunch catered by The Chateau, Italian songs on the accordion, followed by the movie, ``Roman Holiday'' with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck. Cost is $10.

`No No Nanette' update
New discount price of $27 for Reagle Players show, ``No No Nanette'' on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2 p.m. Those who paid the higher price will be reimbursed.

Presentations
The local Walgreens Pharmacists will be available to answer your questions about how to take your medications, Thursday, July 10, 1 p.m. Be sure to bring a list of all of your medications. Please register.
State Sen. Susan Fargo will be available to address your questions or concerns Friday, July 18, 9:30 to 11 a.m. Shuttle van pick up time is 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church parking lot and return time at 11:30 a.m.
Join Pam Kaufman from Home Instead Senior Care to learn why good hydration is necessary for healthy bodies and brains Monday, July 21, 1 p.m. Learn how to add fluids to your day creatively and which fluids are allies in health. Please register.
Join Olga McLellan, RN, from the Joseph M. Smith Community Center for a discussion on diabetes and nutrition Tuesday, July 22, 2 p.m. Please register.
Meredith Pensack, CLTC is a long-term care insurance planning specialist who will advise you on the appropriateness of long-term care insurance Monday, July 28, 2 p.m. Please register.

Taxi voucher program
The Discount Taxi Voucher Program resumes July 14. Vouchers are available to Waltham residents 60+. Cost is $5 for a book of $10 vouchers. SSI recipients pay $2.50 per book. To purchase by mail send a check made payable to the City of Waltham with a self addressed stamped envelope (two 42 cent stamps for 4 books) to the Council on Aging, 488 Main St., Waltham, MA 02452. Classes
No T'ai Chi in July. Students are welcome to practice with a video during the regular scheduled class time at no charge. No Painting in July and August, students are welcome to use the room at the regular scheduled class time.
Still time to register for the Beyond Balance program. The program focuses on exercise with one hour of strengthening movement. The program cost $40 for eight weeks, Thursday, July 24-Sept. 18, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
A Weight Watchers information and registration meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 8, 1 p.m. Information: Maureen, 781-314-3301.
Basic Computer course will be offered Wednesday, July 16, 23, 30, Aug. 6 and 13, 1 to 2:30 p.m. It covers setting up a computer, basic computer use, using the programs, getting on the Internet and saving data. $30 for residents $40 for non residents, due on the first day.

Movies
Friday, July 11, 1 p.m.: ``The Bucket List.'' Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman are two terminally ill cancer patients who decide to break out of the hospital and live their last days to the fullest.
Friday, July 18, 1 p.m.: ``The Great Debaters.''" This true story starring Denzel Washington is about a temperamental debating coach who molded the students of a small East Texas college that gave even Harvard's elite squad a run for their money.
Friday July, 25, 1 p.m.: ``27 Dresses.'' The story of a single woman who has been a bridesmaid a shocking 27 times and has now begun to feel that something is missing in her life.

Podiatry: Routine visits, with Dr. Tuler, such as nail and callous care Wednesday, July 16, 11 a.m.m to 12:30 p.m. Call to make appointment.
No glucose screening in July. No support groups in July and August.
