I learned that city (granted) a permit to a developer for construction of commercial/residential complex in the corner of Main and Moody streets.

Considering lack of major road evacuating the traffic from downtown, adding 200+ residential units on top of some commercial building would bring the congestion to an unhealthy level and safety concern.

I have been a resident in downtown for many years and have suffered twice from chest/lung problems during last 6 months. The mayor and all councilors who approved such a permit, should realize that they have individual responsibility to make sure that their approval is in compliance with all the traffics, health, and safety rules and regulations of the city, state, and federal governments. One of the hazards of the heavy traffics in downtown is generation of excess fume due to idling cars.
