Scarlet and Smokey are the last remaining kitties rescued from an overcrowded home where as kittens they did not get enough care. They are now about 2 years old and although very different, very close buddies.

Scarlett is a tiny ball of energy with exquisite markings, and once she settles in and feels safe, is quick to purr and curious about people. She loves music, open spaces, and being up high. She will thrive in a spacious apartment or small house. She loves to interact with people, and enjoys being patted while eating kibble as well as good head and belly rubs. Her favorite game involves a fur-covered toy mouse and a chair with rungs. She thrives on attention and on occasion has been known to yip! She will require a little patience to build her trust, and may never be a lap or held cat, but her playfulness and cheerful demeanor will easily make up for this. She is sure to make you chuckle as she stands on her head with a chair rung.

Smokey, a gorgeous, pure gray, almost blue kitty, who is initially shy, but eventually much cuddlier! He is a love-hog who will push his way into any petting session with Scarlett to get his. He likes to cuddle in bed, so he will probably become a lap cat. He now purrs quite freely in his foster home where he is very comfortable, and he often greets his foster momma at the door when she comes home, rolling at her feet for a good kitty-massage. He loves the toy mousies too.
