Heidi and Specter are two gorgeous tuxedo cats, about 3 years old, who love each other very much and are hoping to find a home with older children they can play with, or with someone who is retired or working at home so they'll have company.
They're bright and playful, perfectly well-behaved, well groomed, and fun. Heidi plays with the toys I have around the house - she gets them and entertains herself when no one else is around. And Specter plays hide-and-seek with me. He watches to see if I'm up for a chase and if I give him ``the look,'' he dashes out of the room and darts into some room where he'll sit right out in plain site till I find him; then he hunkers down, we exchange knowing glances again and if I give him the nod, he's off for another chase. When I take a break to rest, he comes sit right beside me till I give him the signal I'm ready for one more mad dash or I'm done for the night. Specter is a perfect gentleman and Heidi is his lovely lady. Heidi is small and very pretty, with long hair, and Specter is larger with shorter hair and enormous, inquisitive eyes - a handsome and affectionate duo looking for a loving home.
The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit organization of volunteers that rescues homeless cats. There are no paid staff so all money goes directly to the care of the kitties. There is a tax-deductible donation of $150 for each adoption that provides for a vet exam, spaying or neutering, initial vaccinations and the FIV and Feline Leukemia combo test. The Cat Connection may, at its discretion, offer discounts to elderly or disabled adopters. For more information on adopting, or to volunteer, call 781-899-4610, e-mail info@thecatconnection.org, or fill out the online PreAdoption Application at http://members.petfinder.org/~MA190/Pr eadoption_Application.html.
