This beautiful big tortie was found wandering outside and brought to The Cat Connection. We couldn't find her owner so she has been staying with a foster mom. She is a typical tortie in that she decides when she is going to be patted and when you will stop. She gives you a whack to let you know, but she really doesn't mean any harm. She loves to play and hides to wait until her chance to pounce. If you are looking for a large cat, she is your girl. She isn't fat, she is just big, so you won't have to worry about her being too delicate.
Are you interested in harness training? Brook could be a candidate. She does like to get out and it would be OK if she were to spend time with you while you are working in the garden, but a harness would allow you to go for a walk. Other than that, we do ask that you keep her inside. She could spend time on her own if you are out during the day and will come running when you call her name at the end of the day. Her foster mom says that she is so sweet that sometimes they call her Cookie.
