When Buttons came to The Cat Connection he had no momma and he was so little that he had to be hand fed special food by our volunteers. As a result, he is a real people lover, but he sure does love playing with the other kittens in his foster home. Now he is ready to get his forever home, and he would like you to come and adopt him, and one of his kitten buddies. If Buttons is not the match for you then we will be happy to let you meet more of our kittens.
Heidi and her brother Huck were born on the street, but that didn't stop them from becoming cuddly homebodies. In fact, they are so well adjusted that they went out to a forever home, but their new forever momma couldn't keep them due to a health issue (with her, not the kitties). So, they had to come back, and now they are hoping that someone else will want a pair of playful, cuddly kittens. At six months old, their personalities are fully formed, so you what you see is what you will get, and what you will get is a perfectly playful pair of felines.
Snickers is a beautiful, loveable orange and white tabby. He was hanging around outside someone's house for quite a while until finally they brought him in. We checked on any lost cats, and found none, so he has ended up in our foster home system. He is only about two years old and loves to play, especially with laser lights. He gets along with other cats and he would love to find a new forever home where he would have someone to love and play with. We promise that you will love to be loved by him! So get a laser light toy and come meet Snickers! We promise you won't be disappointed.
This beautiful big tortie was found wandering outside and brought to The Cat Connection. We couldn't find her owner so she has been staying with a foster mom. She is a typical tortie in that she decides when she is going to be patted and when you will stop. She gives you a whack to let you know, but she really doesn't mean any harm. She loves to play and hides to wait until her chance to pounce. If you are looking for a large cat, she is your girl. She isn't fat, she is just big, so you won't have to worry about her being too delicate.
OK, here we go with another basket of kittens! Honest, we really do have lots of kittens and more keep coming in every day. This group has six, but one was having their nails clipped while the picture was being taken. What color do you want? Tiger, black, black and white, or how about a grey tiger? We also have calicos and others that look like Monet painted them. They will come to you having had several veterinary appointments that included shots, and spaying or neutering and getting rid of those little wormy things, too.
PJ was thrown out along with his brother when their owner moved. If that was not bad enough, his brother became territorial and began beating PJ up whenever he tried to go into the yard where he was. So, PJ was in tough shape by the time he got to The Cat Connection.
Minnie came to The Cat Connection like most of the females come, with kittens. She has been a beautiful, loving momma kitty to three little tiger kittens. They will all be going to new homes soon and now she needs to find her own forever home. She can fit almost any color wish you have. She is white, black, grey, brown, orange, and tiger. Being a kitten herself, she is only about nine months old; Minnie is also a very playful little girl. How can you resist? She has every color you could want and even thought she has had kittens, she is still a kitten herself. Besides that, her personality is very evident and it shows that she loves people.
2010 might be the Year of the Tiger, but at The Cat Connection we are experiencing it a year early. Little tiger kittens and big tiger cats are roaming around foster homes looking to make a connection with someone who wants a tiger of their own. Some are tiger all the way and others might have white bibs or paws. You are sure to find one you like.
Hildi, the calico kitty, has found a totally terrific tiger and she wants you to bring him home with her. His name is Harry and they absolutely love each other as much as you will love them. The only thing that probably equals how much they enjoy being with each other is playtime with their human friends. They love to play with laser lights and feathers, and they love to crawl up and over under and around their humans, too.
Galahad is a very relaxed kind of guy, capable of sharing space with other kitties and willing to do what he can to make you happy. He was abandoned by departing college students and ended up in the hands of volunteers for The Cat Connection.
