CAMBRIDGE —
Poet Dan Chiasson will participate Sunday, Feb. 14 in a National Book Release for his newest collection of poems Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Pierre Menard Gallery in Harvard Square, at 10 Arrow St., Cambridge.
An assistant professor of English at Wellesley College, Chiasson is publishing "Where's the Moon, There's the Moon,'' his third volume of poetry. A Vermont native now living in Sudbury, he earned the 2008 Guggenheim Fellowship for Poetry and the Push Cart prize. At Wellesley College, he teaches courses on poetry and a poetry workshop and serves as poetry editor of the Paris Review.
The book release event is jointly sponsored by Back Pages Books of Waltham, Lame Duck Books of Cambridge and Grolier Poetry Book Shop, the nation's oldest shop devoted entirely to poetry.
