Kelly, Wendell to marry

Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Wendell announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Malynn Wendell, to Dr. Joseph Francis Kelly.

The bride-to-be is a 1998 graduate of Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio, Texas, and received her bachelor of science degree from Texas Tech University. She received her masters degree in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is currently employed in the North East Independent School District in San Antonio.

The groom-to-be is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Kelly of Lee. Dr. Kelly is a 1993 graduate of Waltham High School. He received his bachelor of arts in Neuroscience and Biology at Brandeis University and his doctorate of medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. He is a major in the U.S. Army and is currently a surgeon at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.

The couple is planning a wedding in the Spring of 2010.
