Faith M. Boudreau of Great Diamond Island, Maine, is proud to announce the engagement of her daughter, Rebecca E. Boudreau, to Michael J. Negron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Miguel Negron of Waltham. She is the daughter of the late David J. Boudreau of Watertown.
The future bride is a graduate of Waltham High School and the University of New Hampshire, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology. She also holds a master of science degree in Moderate Special Needs from Simmons College. She is a special education teacher in Newton.
The future groom is a graduate of Waltham High School and Bentley University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in Computer Information Systems. Brown Brothers Harriman employs Michael as a Client Management Reporting supervisor.
The couple began dating more than a decade ago, when they attended Rebecca's high school prom. He asked for her hand in marriage on his 28th birthday.
A March 2010 wedding is planned at The Georgetown Club in Georgetown, Mass.
