On Sunday, June 1, from 1 to 5 p.m. enjoy a house tour with a green advantage when the Southborough Garden Club presents a Kitchen and Garden Tour.
Eight kitchens and gardens will open their doors and gates for the public to tour the latest in kitchen design and landscape architecture.
The kitchens will be festively decorated for a variety of occasions, and the gardens will offer a meanderer's paradise of paths, woodlands, arbors, heirloom plants and more.
The tour will begin at the Southborough Community House, 28 Main St., where tea and light refreshments will be served, 1920s style.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the tour. Purchase tickets in advance by mailing a check with a self-addressed stamped envelope to Southborough Gardeners, P.O. Proceeds from the tour will be used for future beautification projects in Southborough.
